It's early Tuesday morning there right now. Too early to text or call him, but I'll bug him later today and let you know ...

My last conversation with him was in July last year. Hell of a craftsman!

We chatted him up for a bit last night and begged him for some updates and photos. He told us he hasn't taken any photos for a long time, and all he's been doing is "body work and sanding the body" ... I'll keep pestering him.

Agreed on 2 points; Body work & sanding is, well, boring to watch... on the other hand a project like this is thrilling to behold, no matter how minute the progress. I recon he'll shoot some progress shots when he's ready.

2 years of purgatory, and an industrial sized mess to clean up. I feel his pain.

All I can get out of him is that; "he's still working on it ..."
He painted his dash though, so I'm thinking he's moving in the right direction.

    I'm sure @X38 will re-surface soon enough

  18. Any true craftsman worth his salt will tell you that these things cannot be rushed. It takes time, money and patience ( mostly patience). So just relax and @X38 will be back soon.

Tony has been dealing with his elderly mom's recent health issues and hasn't made too much progress lately (according to him), but it IS still moving in a positive direction (just slower).
