Humbled by the awards given out by it's peers.
So how do I show trophies without showing off?
I guess just show a picture of them, grateful to see the car win these,

Parked our cars out front yesterday so we could take some shots for our last minute Christmas cards.
    Here's a couple of examples.
Sure is convenient having our neighbor's garage so close,

Hope this isn't a repeat, met up with Louie Force [John's brother] at the Bakersfield
California Hot Rod Reunion. Louie introduced the wife and I to everybody.
He's a kick, sounds just like his brother.

We attend Steve Castelli's Annual New Years Day party almost every year, check out the sign above one of his garage doors.
    What memories at that track!

He sure does and plenty more.
The Olds was owned by Bill Taggart, here's a few shots of it in storage,

    Some trivia...
the late Bill Taggart, name on the Olds in above photos, was in charge of the Infineon Race track
[Sears Point in Sonoma] drag racing program. He also had over 500 wins under his belt.
He was later a tech inspector at the same track.
I had walked into a local parts store many years ago, wearing a Willys t-shirt.
He approached me and asked if I had a Willys.
That started a long conversation, what a nice fella,

Anybody heard of the late Byron Stack? Byron visit 1.jpg Byron visit 2.jpg Byron visit 3.jpg Byron's decal.jpg
    Byron's Gasser Madness.
He paid me a visit years ago, big guy but was still able to fit into my old pickup,

Mad Mikey, I think it was you that posted a shot of Don Moyer's wheel standing Rebel Reaper.
I got to see it at the 2016 California Hot Rod Reunion.
