Speaking of Bones, when I blew up the motor in my 30 pickup he gave me this advice about head gaskets.
How cool is this?????

Hi Mick, Forget all those copper headgaskets, and o rings and use a set of Fel-Pro multilayer performance gaskets, part number 1143. I swear by them, I've been running blown small blocks all my life. I'm also using AFR aluminum heads. 23lbs of boost and never a headgasket problem, knock on wood, since I started using them 3 yrs. ago. Hope this helps! BONES P.S. They are a bit pricey, but well worth it!

There's a lot of Willys out there but I sure like the intake and exhaust on this one!

Instructions on fuel filter were to install it prior to the pump.
That's fine until you try to replace the filter [maintenance].

So, I installed a shut off valve below the tank, made new
mounts and re-installed the fuel pump ahead of the filter.
I should have known better.
