    No more "new style" wheels so I'll try to show some of my old, old shots or no side shots.
    Here's one I did NOT take but interesting none the less, 37 Willys military.jpg

    My friend Tim's 56 Ford pickup, he did all the sheet metal work on my coupe, flooring, trunk, my "not so secret" secret compartment.
    I believe Halibrand wheels are OK to post.
    This is at our Friday Night Gatherings when Tim lived right down the street, he has since moved. Tims 56.jpg Tims 56 2.jpg Tims 56 3.jpg
    Nice truck!

    I had planned on getting the car "lettered" but changed my mind, just leaving it alone. Lettering of Willys241.jpg

    Thought it would be a kick just to go to the store and back in a dragster Dragster at Chokes.jpg Dragster at Chokes 2.jpg Dragster at Chokes 3.jpg Dragster rocking chair.jpg ,
    it's only three blocks away.
    Here's couple of front engine dragsters at my fabricator's [home] shop.
    Looks like I'll have to be satisfied with the last picture...

    My sister and her family came down from El Dorado Hills [Ca.] and paid us a visit today, my 9 year great nephew Brayden got his first ride in the hot rod.
    He loved it..see attached.

    Searching for rear wheel wells I found one pair in Arizona and another pair in Ca.
    Had to make one good pair out of them.
    My friend Tim [56 Ford pickup] did the sheet metal work for me, blended the two pair;
    then the flooring, etc. Blended wheel wells.jpg Blended wheel wells 2.jpg Still wrenchin' 007.jpg Still wrenchin' 002.jpg Still wrenchin' 003.jpg Still wrenchin' 014.jpg Still wrenchin' 008.jpg Still wrenchin' 009.jpg Still wrenchin' 010.jpg Still wrenchin' 011.jpg Still wrenchin' 012.jpg Still wrenchin' 013.jpg

    Spending a few days with Louie Force. Louie digs the coupe.jpg Louie and gang 2009.jpg

    He sounds just like his brother John.
    He's friends with our friend Bill Brimmer.
    Louie introduced us to his buddies at the nostalgia drags.
    He really liked our Willys [in 2007 Bakersfield] attached;
    been in touch since.
    "Louie and the gang" below [in 2009 Bakersfield again]

    Front row standing...left to right:
    1] Dave Wilken Blue Max Funny Car crew member
    2] another crew member-same car
    3] Frank Pisano, owner of Venolia Pistons and friend of our group member Rob Padrick.
    4] Dale "Snail" Emery, driver of the Pure Hell "car" and also was the chief engine builder
    and overseer of the operation on the Blue Max Funny Car.
    5] Dale Armstrong, winner of 12 NHRA events in alcohol dragster, altereds and Funny
    Cars throughout the '70s. Not to mention Crew Chief of Kenny Bernstein's first dragster
    to hit 300 mph.
    6] Fred "Waterbed" Miller [don't ask], Crew Chief of the Blue Max Funny Car.
    7] "Lil" John Lombardo, Funny Car driver.

    Sitting behind them, left to right:
    yours truly, Louie Force and our friend Bill Brimmer,
    Mick
