    Hello Mick,
The Willys pictured in your previous post has had a long hard life!! Here it is 35 YEARS BEFORE the Gateway Gasser Gathering photos...

    S_S1965.jpg

And here it is 25 YEARS AFTER those photos. Currently at the Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, Nebraska.
I guess you could call it a True Survivor!!!

Honestly, all those photos are the same car!!!!

Hi Dave [I knew it was your car].
Glad it's in the museum, this car has such a great history, it needs to be shown off.
Did I mention Dave has a "few " trophies?" Dave Hales trophy winner.jpg

This was at Jimmy's Picnic [annual] in Golden Gate Park S.F.
Decades ago I had purchased a Morris Minor station wagon from Jimmy.

A group of friends all met here at the house then we all cruised to our local parade location.
    The wife starts off the parade in her 34 4th 2025 4.jpg 4th 2025 9.jpg 4th 2025 13.jpg 4th 2025 15.jpg .
LOTS of kids, so refreshing to see.
Everybody knows our little dog Joey so the kids were hollering "Hi Joey!" TFF.

Our friend Bruno has a beautiful/rare 42 Ford business coupe.
    See attached...
He's been attending our Walnut Creek 4th of July parade every year
but this year he and his wife got talked into attending the Concord parade instead.
It's a HUGE parade, kids everywhere; some "bone head" in a shortened 56 Chevy wagon gasser was trying to show off behind him during the parade by attempting to do wheel stands...with his 9 year old grandson in the car.
He lost control of the car and plowed right into the back of the 42.
A video of it was sent to me last night.
    I'm shaking my head,
    Mick

Unloading my engine at my fabricator's [home] shop.
Note the chopped 37 Austin in the background,
I had just purchased it for trading material. Mick20250513_0023.jpg

Whole engine rebuild because blower needs seals? Why engine to fab’s shop?
