1938 Ford deluxe 95% original Last painted 1970, paint is rough but no rust holes, 70,000 original miles, nice original mohairInterior. Everything works. Radio works and the clock does as well if you wind it every couple of days. I have the original mat and carpet in the shop. As far as I can tell it has a 59ab engine with the original 3 bolt distributor. New coil and points. 6v alternator and Optima battery. Starter drag sometimes when hot, always starts, I have the end plate bushing to help cure this, never installed. Have the hub caps. 185-90-16 radial tires drives nice, mechanical brake, last year for them, woven brake shoes, stop pretty good. Duals with Brockmans mufflers. Fuel filter in-line back by the tank and a 6v Airtec pump in-line but not connected Steering is tight. I built a custom set of drum retainers for the mechanical brakes (hyd ones won’t fit) Regina SK car never winter driven since new (no heater) original family sold it in 2010, 2nd and 3rd owners never drove it, I traded for it in 2015. Thinning the herd, I know I will never find another prewar car this original and drivable.
