Came across this site and had to join, my father in law gave me his 38 Dodge coupe that has been sitting in his building for the last 25 years. It has alot of rust in the lower rockers and floors. I was able to locate some good body panels from a local guy who makes them in his spare time. I've come to realize that 38 dodge fenders are next to impossible to find so my first question to is what other years are compatible with the 38 dodge as far as front fender fit, I was told that fenders from a 37 plymouth or dodge would fit. I just want to make sure before I make the investment. Any comments would be appreciated

    Thanks

Hollander's says that all '38 Dodge models can use the same fenders, but does not interchange with the other Mopar brands. Doesn't mean you can't make it work- I don't know what would be required, but they are not the same.

Post a picture, Vidal. Those cars make great hot rods - I'd love to see yours.

Thanks for taking the time to look that up for me.

Right now it's not much to look at I have it all apart, some would say that i'm nuts for taking on such a project. I'll see what happens.

    Thanks

Dodge is unique and yes, they'll be tough to find parts for. Scower eBay and you might check plydo.com for other parts and also Mitchell Motor Parts.

Check with R&R Fibergl*** in Tenn. on those fibergl*** 38 Dodge front fenders. They already have the rears, and their site says the fronts are coming soon. We paid $75 for our 38 Dodge coupe and drove it home. That was in 1962 and can be seen on my web site. www.sledcityevents.com. It will be going back to all black soon, from the red and black that it is today. I make the sedan trunk and the panel between the fenders and under the trunk, for that car , and it also fits the Chrysler, Plymouth and Desoto. I am Sled City Fibergl***
