Starting to collect parts for my '38 Ford pickup. Starting with the frame. What do you guys with these trucks recomend? Build a frame? Find a stock frame? What works?
    Lets see some pics.
let me know what you have.
    Thanks

It really depends on the direction of your build. Most the stock frames of that era are strong enough for hard street use...ghost

    If you build a frame...
35-40 frames are basically the same.....
the 46 and 47 Ford pickups used the same cab as the 40 and the same bed (except it was 3" wider)
    but used a straight frame.....

We plan to use rectangular tubing and copy the 46/7 frame for our 1940 pickup
