Projects 1938 Oldsmobile F38 first start in 60 years

Here is the requested Video. I finally got the pig started today. Did not need to pull start. Just tons of PB Blaster. I drove it around the block in circles for 30 mins. No brakes no problem[emoji6]

Been parked for over 60 years? Would like to hear the story about that.
Looks solid.

 

The immediate plan is to get it fully ready for a 10 plus hour road trip that will be documented. I have had many prewar GM'S and always wanted to take a completely orginal unmolested unit out and just see what happens.

 

I have some of the story but I am looking for the rest. It was sinking into the mud from '54 to '94. Had to be dug out by skid loader from the "barn" it was in. Then went to another barn until now.

 

Another success story getting an old car running again.
