1938 WA License Plates

Anyone got a lead on where I can get a set of 1938 Washington State license plates? Have been trying e-bay with no luck. Thanks

 

I'd suggest getting in touch with some of the local car clubs up there. Most rodders and/or restorers know somebody that has old plates. Hit some of the swap meets - I know the Model A club has a Puyallup swap met and Portland will be coming up this spring. If you know anyone in NSRA - paw through his/her "fellow pages" in the WA section and start dialing the phone. Best of luck.

the guy on craigslist is out of gresham ore. and his name is jim and he is at just about every swap meet. put a "wanted ad" on craigslist.

 

I just bought a set of '58-'62 Washington plates for my Merc through Jim. He has tons of plates and I'm sure he can help you out. Expect to pay $100-175 through him for a pair of plates. Here's his address: jims.vintageparts@verizon.net
