C'mon Skotys I was just kiddin no worries it will be traditional everywhere except the front clip and the 8 inch rear end withe the four bar link set up. It will will be low and under the fenders so who cares! Traditional would have been a dropped axle and I'm not really into it on a custom Hotrod yes on this it don't matter.

Just to cement the deal I cut the bag perch off. Toby got the rails and crossmember welded up on the bench then tacked in the car. It's straight and pinching the frame cleaned it all up and made room for the springs the crossmember would have fit to the old frame but the frame to spring clearance was no good.

Thats way cool that you got back to this car.
Are you making your own cilinders? that would be really crazy.

Thanks Homie! It lays down nice with 16 in wheels I got room for bigger tires up front but not in the back. the back is a height issue to the fender tops. Also the wheels dont tip in at the top when its dumped, so far Im a fan of the clip I bought:D clip should be finished next week hopefully have the springs and cylinders perched up as well.

Was at BCC yesterday and was looking at your Zephyr. What a cool looking ride that is only going to look better with Scott and his crew working on it. Don't worry about the wheel clearance on the back fenders, Toby and Ben were torching out the openings when I left:eek::D

Looking good Dave. In all the years I've known you I honestly thought this was one you had given up on. Good to see you're back at it.
