Does any body know if 1939 & 1940 Chevy COE truck grills have the same amount of bars. I know the 1/2 ton trucks are different counts. 39 1/2 ton has a shorter top Chevrolet name piece above the grill, so they added more bars to the grill, 1940's name piece is taller, so the grill has less bar's. Or is it the other way around, I forget, been to long ago? So as I am looking for a COE grill, I was wondering if COE's also changed that one small detail in 1940? They look the same, so you would need to count the bar's.
