I know it has been said already but, WOW! What an amazing car, its just spot on, perfect. Can any one tell me what the exact colour is? I'm a big fan of green and would like to paint something in this elegant shade one day. [/QUOTE]
Here are some pics of my 1940 Mercury I picked up last year. Chop has been done by Kevan Sledge and Vic Jimenez. This is how it looked right after the chop. Now working on the body itself. Car was an old custom in the 50's 60's and then turned into a drag car in the 80's. Trying to undrag it and turn it back into what it should be
I am thinking about giving myself a '40 Merc four door convertible for my 76th birthday in two weeks. I looked for the Buddy Ohanesian/Westergard car in this thread, but did not find it. Can someone post it so I can roll some of its features back to the front of my addled brain?
You can find dozens of photos at Rik Hoving's Custom Archives. Check HERE:http://public.fotki.com/Rikster/11_.../bertillucci_custom_cars/bertolucci-ohanesia/
The Ohanesian is a beautiful car. You could never go wrong with using that as an inspiration for a build
Another beautiful four door Merc convertible is Larry Sanford's, the last full build from Valley Customs.
