Where do you folks buy longer '39-'48 Ford front brake hoses? The stock ones are just a little too short for early cars. I want stock looking rubber hoses with the correct ends for the early Ford hydraulic systems. Thanks Ed
Some brake repair shops have the fittings, hose and crimp machine to make to what ever length you want, that,s what I did.
The illustrated brake catalog has all the hoses listed by sizes. Now you need a counterman that knows how to turn pages, not push ****ons.

You're the winner Mart. That's what I was looking for, an OEM Ford part that did the job. Cheap too! So the fittings at each end are the same as the car fronts eh? These look like they might be interesting for rear hoses too. Ed
I did but I want to mount the hose on the rail side to keep it clean and tidy and the '32 frame is a bit narrower up front than a '39 and that makes all the difference.
We use late 60s-70s Dodge pickup rear brake hoses all around on the early cars we build with Ford brakes. Longer than the original Fords and always available.
Those mac's hoses carry the ford part number, but they are offshore made with chinese writing on them... and they are smaller diameter hose than orig ford stuff. I would have a local shop make them if at all possible or find NOS.
