I have a 1939 Plymouth with no hood, I have bought 2 diffrent hoods but both don't fit. Is there more than 1 size hhod or did I weld it wrong. The hoods I have a 34 1/2 in at the hinge and it looks like I need a 36 1/2 inch.

  2. I just measured the hood on my '39 Business Coupe and it's 35" at the top.

I'll measure mine for you and let you know. It may not be right as mine is a 2 door sedan. I need two headlight buckets, you don't know of any do you? If not maybe I could get you to take a few close pictures of yours so I can make some.
    Thanks Keith.

You may need to shim the rad. support up and check your cowl supports
if your short just that much.
