I think so. Car is being built as a Street Rod with custom TCI frame, 9" Ford rear, LS3, and 4L60E. Running 18X9's on the rear with 275/40-18 tires. Just need to figure out really what offset or backspacing for the fronts with that 225 tire.
If I'm in the wrong place I'll certainly retract my post. Did traditional hot rods use anything but flatheads, straight axles, and banjo rear ends, or would that be a Custom Hot Rod?
"5. As mentioned throughout these guidelines, the H.A.M.B. focuses on TRADITIONAL hot rods and customs. Posts pertaining to traditionally inspired, but not quite period perfect belong on the main forum found here. Please note that we don't focus on things such as modern fuel injected motors, big-inch wheels, frame clips, after market independent suspensions, etc... at all on the H.A.M.B.. As such, posts that stray away from the "traditional inspired" will be deleted." https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-h-a-m-b-rules-guidelines.44274/
Nothing after 1965, with rare exceptions, mostly for safety (seat belts, brakes, etc.), and ability to maintain modern road speed (overdrive transmissions, etc). Of what you listed, only the car body and the 9-inch rear end are acceptable here.
We largely are. This forum has rules set by the owner. Everyone is required to follow them. Many of us have cars that cannot be mentioned or featured here. That's fine.
