First off, How is that for a descriptive ***le?? Anyway My boss has a 1939 Ford 2 door sedan that I have been doing the rust repair on. He has 2 'gl*** rear fenders for it, however they have no provisions for the fuel fill.
Anybody here have one that they would be willing to take some measurements on? Even a good clear photo that has some reference points that I could use to get it REAL close would be of a HUGE help. Thanks again everybody. Keith

I was out in the gargage and took some measurements.
If you measure from were the running board meets the fender at cornor is 48 1/4 now from wheel well back cornor up is 20 3/4
if those meet about 6 3/8 use out side dia. center would be about 7 3/8.
If your fenders are wider you will have to adjust.
    Double check no guarent.

George, Thank you. The fenders are stock in size. I will lay it out and see how it looks. Again Thank you. Keith

  4. Here is a '38. It should be close to the correct location for a '39. The fuel filler is a straight shot on them so if you have the tank in place you can just look up to where it would p*** through the fender.
