Technical 1939 Ford pickup spring

    Just to double-check before bending back. Is the correct end the one that is straight RH side?
    I ***ume the one in the picture should be fixed.

    I’m guessing the perch was bent for a reason. Who would go to that work for no reason? Maybe try to find out why?

    Notice that somebody wailed on top of the end of the axle with a hammer? Something was probably bent, and a Neanderthal fixed it. Might not be pretty, but maybe it’s square now. You go adjusting things back and it might not be square anymore. Have you done any measuring to determine that the important parts are out of whack?

    Do not bend yet ! ONLY BEND IF NEEDED AND IT DOE NOT LOOK LIKE ITS NEEDED !
    It was bent for a reason by someone that knew a thing or two .
    It would only need to be rebent if it was not parallel with the other side .

    I will try to find the original main leaf and the second one. Please help with the dimensions, so I will purchase the correct ones.
