1939 Ford Standard Coupe. Originally built in Placerville, California in 1972 with a smooth running ‘64 327, mated to the ‘39 box with an early Wilco adapter. Power is transferred through a functioning 2 speed rearend, (though vacuum line is currently disconnected). Electrical has been upgraded to 12v negative ground. Gauges and lights work. Headlights have new halogen bulbs. Speedometer needs a new cable. It’s got 16” Artillery Wheels on Firestone bias ply big and littles tires for a correct look. Drives great and tracks straight. Starts, runs, steers and stops perfect! Interior is in great shape, nice gl***, nice trim, never wrecked, no rust. A rare find in this condition, this car is NOT an over restored street rod but rather a very lovingly cared for time capsule that looks, feels, and drives like an old cl***ic hot rod should. The magic here isn’t in what it “has”, but what it doesn’t have. No billet serpentine belt air conditioner system or powered leather ford navigator seats.
