SOLD SOLD Cool 1939 Lincoln Zephyr 4 door sedan recently removed from years of storage in a semi truck trailer. Body has original paint and minimal rust. The V-12 flathead and transmission is long gone, but the rest of the drive train is factory, as is all suspension and steering. Both axles and brakes are factory. All window garnish, door latches mechanisms, window regulators, dash, and steering column are with the car. Wheels, trim rings, three hubcaps and original fender skirts are with the car. The car has both bumpers, a nice grill, and both headlight assemblies including the lenses. Tail light buckets are in the fenders but the lenses are gone. Brake pedal assembly is still bolted in the chassis. The radiator is still in the chassis. The frame and firewall look factory other than two small triangular pieces that are welded on the frame in the engine area. They appear to be an attempt to install another engine into the chassis, possibly a V-8 flathead? The worst part about the car is the interior. Over many years animals have torn the interior to shreds. I kept the front and rear seat frames with springs after I spent two days cleaning out shredded foam and material as well as raccoon poop! Passenger and trunk floors are still very solid with just a small area that is soft on the rear passenger side. This is the same area on the exterior of the body that shows the worst rust, especially in the rocker area below the running board. The car does roll and steer easily but has no brakes. All tires hold air well except for right front Doors latch well as does hood. Stock hood latch. Price is $4500 as it sits as I have described and with no title just a bill of sale. I am surprised I have had no action on this car? Last bump till spring as its kinda cold and snowy in Indiana now. Oh, I would be open for an interesting trade with this car... some floor pics for those who are interested. I have no pictures at this time of the underside of the car.
