Features 1940-1948 Chrysler/DeSoto/Dodge/Plymouth Mopar only picture thread.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Hemiken, Nov 13, 2012.

  1. Went to look at this 1947 Chrysler Windsor as a part trade for a OT car I have for sale. It's running and yard driving with the flathead six rebuilt about 7 years ago. Even has the YOM plates on it still! I thought I might share here.

Sorry for the crummy phone pictures. The better pictures are on my camera at home.

Here's my '40 Plymouth sedan delivery. Long term project finally on the road this summer. 5500 miles on it now with road trips to Sonoma, Portland and Monterey for the vintage races and Bonneville since we didn't run this year. After so many years as soon as it was road worthy I started driving it. I'll get the upholstery done this winter. Nick

I’ve owned a couple of these old Chryslers. Great cruisers.

here is our 47 Windsor, 7 passenger in front of our 1960, 16 foot Airstream Pacer. Maybe someday we can attach the two.

Hemiken, do you happen to have any pictures of some 42s? I'm trading for a special deluxe this weekend and would like to get some ideas. I'm stoked to be getting it and can't wait to tear into it. Thanks for this thread. It's awesome!

Yes. It's a four door. It was chiseled out of a farm field but, it's not in bad shape really.
