Projects 1940 chevy chrome window trim

I need the passenger side rear quarter window chrome trim for a 1940 chevy 4 door sedan. I have found one for a good price off a 1940 Buick coupe. It looks the same in the pictures. Does anyone know if it is the same.

It won't fit. The Buick is a totally different size. Looks the same but they're different.

Chevs and Pontiacs were the same in 40 and I believe Olds and Buick were the same. I have spare 40 Pontiac doors for my Chev and the side window stainless is the same but the stainless down the side is slightly different. I do not have any quarter window parts..sorry. Good luck.

 

Thanks, I've done sent a cancel order request on eBay. I guess I'll keep looking for a Chevy or Pontiac one.

There is a place in the northwest called Ida's Chevy parts. They probably have them. I bought quite a few parts from there... Can't remember if they are in Washington or Oregon.....
