I am rodding a 1940 Dodge 2dr sedan. It has factory IFS and front of frame doesn't lend itself to installation of a MII crossmember which was my first thought. Does anyone make an IFS rebuild kit for the factory front end?
Went to their site and all I found was the upper photo. Bottom photo is exactly what I need. I sent them an email asking if they had the lower version so I expect they will respond positively soon. Thanx for the replies!!
Kanter makes great parts for rebuilding the original suspension, I used their deluxe kit to rebuild our '54 Ford Ranch Wagon, rides and drives great. HRP
If you are looking for a stock rebuild, take a look at the https://p15-d24.com/ forum. The folks there will point you in the right direction. Not to take away from the HAMB, but those guys live and breathe old MoPar. Also this is a USA based company that specializes in old parts for MoPar: http://www.amsnos.com/
Anyone have experience rebuilding one of these? Having trouble finding a spring compresser that fits the tight confines.
