I have a 1940 ford coupe with the stock frame under it. that was built in the early 70's. Typical dropped axle(possibly magnum). A Ch***is Engineering split wishbone kit,SBC and TH350. A Couple years ago I went through the front end. New posies reverse eye multi leaf, New shackles, New king pin bushings, etc. I would like to install a 200r4 and retain the current front end. I have did some searching on here with little success. I ran across a thread on this subject posted by a member "okiedokie" but never found what the end result was. Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
It has 26 inch tall tires and 3.73 gears and I would prefer to keep this set up.

You probably should have posted it on the main discussion forum instead of the intro forum so more folks might read it. Good luck. Sounds like a great '40 and a worthwhile change to the 200r4.
