Here's a really nice, solid example of a '40 Coupe like they would have built a hot rod in the early '60s. Starts easy, runs great. This one's "backbone" couldn't be any more solid. No rust, solid build with no short cuts taken. Car was sold new in Victoria Texas and never left the area. I'm the fifth owner since new. All of the work was done at Rexrods in Johnson City Texas. It was repainted(I have Polaroids of the work being done) in 1974 the original color. While the 50 years old paint job isn't perfect, I wouldn't dare change it. It shows some really nice "patina" and shows great. This is a recent build(except the paint) over the last 5 years and currently has 2700 miles on it.
