Would the front seat from a 41 Ford coupe be the same as the 40 Ford coupe ? There is one on epay right now that is listed as fitting a 41-48 coupe, owner doesn't know if it would also fit the 40 ??? Can anybody tell for sure ??
    Thanks,
    Steve

  2. my guess is a `41 is a bit wider than a `40

I can tell you that the seat in a '40 coupe is exactly 48" wide at its widest point. If you have the dimensions on the '41 seat you'll have your answer, but like the previous poster said, I think the '41 is a bit wider.

  4. The 41 seat is too wide ( L side to R side ) to properly fit in a 40
I believe the 41s were 2" wider on each side of center - the 41s were aimed at a more modern design and seat more comfortably its occupants

Thanks guys, looks like I'll p*** on the 41 and keep looking for a good 40.
