Beautiful 1940 Ford Deluxe convertible; It has lived its entire life literally within one mile of where it currently resides. It was bought from a neighbor in 1960 and has been kept in climate controlled storage ever since. Not many documented 2 owner 40 Fords out there. It was originally restored in the 1960’s and then again around 2000. the restoration is a 100% true nut and bolt frame off and was done absolutely meticulously. It is equipped with a Columbia rear and a radio as well. It’s a Dearborn award winner and is as clean as you would expect a well maintained restored car to be. Zero rust and the underside is every bit as clean as the top. Also runs like a sewing machine. The only thing that doesn’t work is the gas gauge. Everything else works including the top. Have lots of other pictures and videos if needed.
If someone gave you a nice 40 Convertible for free you couldn’t restore it to this level for what it would cost to buy this one. absolute top notch concourse restoration
I’m telling you, this is the nicest restored 40 convertible you’re going to come across. seriously, if someone gave you a clean 50 project for free you couldn’t build it this nice for 43k!!!
