I have had this hood hanging on the wall in my garage for many, many years. This is a 1940 ford Deluxe hood that was louvered by the one and only Gene Winfield. He louvered it back in the mid 1980's. It has 102 louvers. It was later owned by Jim Harber. Jim Harber and his brother Bill built the first car to break the 200 mile an hour speed record at Bonneville salt flats in a belly tanker in 1953. This hood is in excellent condition and is truly a piece of hot rod history. If you have any questions, you can call me at 9097971932.
