1940 ford flathead

Have built many 40's but never a flathead car. Considering an engine upgrade. This one is a restored 47K mile car. Engine runs great! Small oil drips but that's it. Considering selling from Radiator to trans complete-has Powermaster 6V alternator etc.. Any guesstimate as to price/ would leave in car so they can see it run and drive. Thank you in advance.

 

Have a 283 with all adapter setup and a walker in the attic-still on the fence on this one Minty car with Columbia etc.

 

If A Potential Customer Brought His Empty Truck And $3500.00 You Would Both Make A Good Deal (IMHO)....Best Of Luck Sir..

I second the 3500 ballpark considering the condition and being able to see it run and drive.

Your Target Market Could Be The V8 Ford Club Where It Is Correct For The Car...They Have Been Good To Me In The Past....

 

I would be a little lower on price, but def a fair assessment.

 

Compression #'s from ALL 8 cyls will help define the value of this flattie.
