1940 ford flathead

    IMG_3220.JPG Have built many 40's but never a flathead car. Considering an engine upgrade. This one is a restored 47K mile car. Engine runs great! Small oil drips but that's it. Considering selling from Radiator to trans complete-has Powermaster 6V alternator etc.. Any guesstimate as to price/ would leave in car so they can see it run and drive. Thank you in advance.

    Have a 283 with all adapter setup and a walker in the attic-still on the fence on this one Minty car with Columbia etc.

    I second the 3500 ballpark considering the condition and being able to see it run and drive.

    Compression #'s from ALL 8 cyls will help define the value of this flattie.
