1940 ford hub grease seals in right? Picture

    The hub on the left has the grease seal installed and the grease seal on the right hub is just sitting on top and the seal is showing the opposite side.

    Do I have the seal on the left in right?

    Any help would be great!!

    Sorry.....the seal on the right is the correct way for it to go in. The seal on the left is in backwards.

    You can get it back out...

    Put the hub on the spindle, and then just the nut, but not the outer bearing.

    Then grab the hub, keep it straight, and slam it out like a dent puller.
