Projects 1940 ford radius rod ball blowd out.

upon starting my 1940 ford truck restoration Ive found that the plate on the bottom of the center of the x member, where the radius ball pivots is worn right through. anybody know if a reproduction panel is made?

Ive searched to no avail so Im guessing not, any repair ideas?. also the radius ball cap is gone, I need to locate one of them to.

Oh also what do you guys think of vintique parts?
some of there stuff is really priced low, to low almost. Im looking at there 1940 grill In particular

I don't think a repair part is available, but from your description if you get two ball caps you should be able to use one as the patch panel and one as original.
