Hey guys, Not sure if it is okay to do this here. But, just got a call from my dad, on his way to "cruisin the coast," in bad rain, with more to come, and without wipers. Rain-ex is not keeping up. Needs a drivers side wiper tower for a 1940 ford car. If you have one call me at (409) 351-4969. If you are on the way from SE Texas he may be able stop by or maybe you can fedex it to a hotel? let me know. Obviously, unless you are right where he is, this will not be a instant fix. But, this is the first day of a 10 "vaction" and it will rain again before its all over.
i have one.. but I am further from him than you! a quick call to dennis carpenter would prohably be the best bet.
Hope you get the parts you need. A good lesson for those who don't understand that wipers HAVE a purpose, ARE a safety item, and NEED to be on everyone's cars/trucks even if ONLY on the driver;s side. Best of luck.
I'm not up on 40's can you swap the pass side to the drivers side? A vendor at the swap meet may have one ( starts Thursday ).
