Technical 1940 ford

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by 1949daveplymouth, Jul 17, 2024.

  1. I have juice brakes from a 1940 ford I don’t like single bowl master cylinders are there any that will bolt right up to the original or will I have to replace the pedal. The one on it has 3 bolts and all the dual bowls have two bolts

  2. There is / was an adapter that will allow a 1 inch Ford dual master cylinder to be bolted up.

I made a similar adapter for a 40 with all stock parts except the adapter had an ange on one face of about 5 deg. to give clearance from the dual reservoir cap and the floor.
