Technical 1940 mercury fender

is a 40 mercury rear sedan fender the same as a coupe rear fender?thanks

 

I believe they are the same....I am almost certain

i'm needing a inner fender driver side ?

 

1940Merc. I may have an extra driver's side inner fender. I should know in the next month or so. Sorry it couldn't be sooner.

The rear fenders on all Mercury body styles interchange from coupe, sedan, 4dr sedan. Good rear fenders are like hens teeth, its nice knowing they all swap between body styles. Even 39 fenders fit on 40 bodies and vice versa although the wheel well opening is different on the 39's
