I have a 1940 Pontiac street rod. It has a blown 540 BBC. It currently has a mostly stock front suspension. I was considering updating using 1958 Pontiac upper and lower A arms so I can get ball joints as well as correct caster angle. The issue is finding 58 parts. All I seem to get are scammers sending me stock photos from the internet. Does anyone out there have a 58 they want to part out ?

Look up Mr. Goodplyers on YouTube, he may be able to help (I believe he's located in Whitewater, KS).

  3. Good luck with finding them, as I have been looking for 2 years including all the ones previously mentioned. I had finally decided to use dropped uprights, only to discover that Fatman no longer makes them. Now am back to looking at other options-modify the existing lower control arms to use ball joints. I already have a pair of 58 Olds uppers. They have a slight twist in them for anti-dive. Should you find the Pontiac lowers, share where you found them.

  4. I have no idea where you are located but myself I'd call All American Auto Wrecking in Van Wa at (360) 254-8850 or contact our own Spooky right here on the H.A.M.B. Good people to deal with and they are close enough for me to drive to.
