I will have to take a closer look at it next week. Maybe try it on for size. I am really interested to see it in person. A lot of these were built for really small people, but somehow, I can usually cram my 6' self in to them.
I am glad you made the post. I was wondering about that car. It is in my town next week, I may have to make an effort to see it. Usually I hunker down during car week (2) it is just to crazy around here at that time.
You should be able to fit in the car. The consigner is at least your height. This car was painfully restored to be as accurate as possible, truly an iconic piece of hot rod history. Here is a photo I took of the car’s interior during restoration.
It's remarkable this car survived! I've seen at least a few b/w pics of it over the years, possibly Book One of Tex Smith's Hot Rod History. Reminds me of something Edsel Ford would create!
I remember a Hamber chiming in about this being restored...to cool!! It may have been in a Thread by @Jimmy B... Thanks for highlighting the one offs @Jive-Bomber...many were beyond awesome and formidable compe***ors. Not trying to hijack, just connecting dots...f'n awesome really...congrats to all involved in its restoration... https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1938-dry-lakes-racer.1227547/#post-15647765
