Well my current build, a 1940 Willys truck, is strung all over my shop, waiting on paint.
The cab was found in the late 60's, resting behind a gas station in Windsor Ontario, later rescued by the person whom I purchased the cab and front clip from.
The truck was completed in the early 70's, painted black, driven to St Paul Minnesota. Sometime after this trip, the truck was in a accident and essentially destroyed.
The truck sat for many years until the 2010 when I purchased the cab and front clip from the owner.
Being too busy, my truck sat in disrepair, waiting to receive a straight axle treatment for front suspension, frame build, box build, and a supercharger for some motivation of the truck and myself.
Anyways, a supercharged and stroked 409, Autogear manual 4 speed and a nine inch out back, obviously painted red will complete the build.
This is not a gasser, it will be a street driven hot rod built in spirit of the late 60's....

Nice! Love the bobbed rear fenders with the slicks hanging out proud just enough.

A little inspiration although I don't think you need any. My friend Eddie Sanzo pre chop and chopped.

  6. What are you using for a blower manifold ? IIRC there was a blower manifold made for the 348" W engine, and the manifold could be used with 1961, 409" heads.

Yes there was a supercharged manifold made for the 'W' however, good luck finding one. BTW, 348 and small port 409 manifolds will interchange. 409 large port heads will not work with a small port manifold, without some welding/port matching.
