    Hi,

I have a pair of 1940's Lincoln Continental Door buttons that I'm using on my Custom. Does anybody know how they attached to the door originally? I'm thinking mabye some kind of spring?? If anybody can help me, I'd appreciate it.

    THanks,
    Dan:confused:

I would assume they are like normal handles, and use the U shaped clip that is spring loaded?

show a pic of them and maybe we can figure it out for you...

I think they use a set screw, as they are a near perfect replacement for a 49 Merc handle. MARSHALL just put them in a Merc, he knows for sure.......OLDBEET
