Not really fresh, just another old picture of my jalopy before going in for surgery, so long ago...

But what the hell. It keeps this thread going, and this thread keeps me motivated.

    Thanks, guys!

    Jerseyboy,
I think the colors are called Kewanee Green and Elkpoint Green. Original 1930 colors. I have just painted over the chopped part and the 1932 grille shell in colors matched in the paint shop. The car was an original 1930 coupe that we chopped 5 inches and put on a 1932 chassis wirh a 59AB flathead and 1939 gearbox and rear axle. Brakes are 1940.

  12. Simply gorgeous; the OE colors knock it out of the park!

My dad owned this 32 in 1952. He bought it in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. He knew that it came from California. I have been trying to find the history on it for years. I know it was later painted red/black and raffled off at a race track in Colp, Il. Does anyone out there have anymore info on it??? Thanks for posting this picture.

  19. Do you have a build thread on this? I looked, but didn't see one. I've just seen the occasional photo on different threads.

dads32....Wow...I am glad you found a picture of your Dad's car. The picture was taken at the Indy 500. I have seen more pictures of the car that looks similar to your Dad's. Really cool...... It looks like it was originally a Cabriolet. Do you have any pictures of it?

  25. ...regarding the coupe & roadster pic,...I just clicked off a photo of the above picture at a truck show I was at yesterday, that's all I got,..I think you can purchase that photo from the Iowa 80 truck stop museum gift shop,... that's where I saw it. I think it was bigger than 8X10"
...here's a link to the museum

...I have no connections with the museum, just trying to help...

It's not a roadster, it's a convertible, and I would have it over the coupe.
