So I dumped 53 Buick for a 41 chevy earlier last month, and dropped it off right away at my good friend Tony's house in San Diego for a chop! Yes that fast I wanted to be able to drive this bad boy over the summer with a fresh cut! This should be a fun build since the car was stock. I already have been scavaging the local swaps for some parts needed with the old kustom parts I had set aside for my Buick!
It's a 3" chop, I had seen Paul garlands 41 chop here before and IMO it was a perfect amount! These are fresh from the press, it's where it's @ now!
So here is another update picture, I've been in Florida the past week so wasn't able to upload any of the pics my buddy tony sent! Passenger side all done with inside garnish moldings & working wing window
Thanks guys I'm happy with the results this far! Today I picked up a 261 from a 55 pick up, I'm hoping this will be a good swap when it's all said n done
Just attaching drivers side progress. Should be able to post pics of the whole car out in the sun this weekend!
Finally a finished pic, I'm really stoked about the finished product!! Tony did an awesome job on the chop, look up 1sic50h for any type of customizing on your ride if you are in SoCal area!
