I found a 1941 1/2 ton Chevy panel truck. I am having trouble identifying the model. The truck has roll up windows in the side were the panel should be. Its not a suburban and it not a huckster wagon. I looked at military with no luck. Does any one know what this may have been made for or if this is rare, or a 1 of ?

I think they were used for produce and such.

Got pictures ? If it isn't a suburban or canopy, it's a panel.

One of chevs first suburbans or (carryall ) 1935 had mech brakes, and for military only,, totally different look, then along come late 1941 , early 1946.
w/o windows its a panel... with windows its a suburban. IMO

Post some pics. Are you sure it's a half ton truck and not a Heavy Duty Sedan Delivery?

We need pics to help you.

Front, side, rear, dash, body ID plate and view of trunk.
    This help a lot.

Thanks all for your input. The truck is stuck in the mountains and not accessible at this time. Will get some pictures when the weather breaks
