I have a 41 ford frame that I am restoring for my business coupe. I bought the frame bare, (stock), I have an aftermarket frame mount brake pedal assembly. Does any one have a picture of where it is mounted onto the frame??? Or perhaps a measurement off a known frame point? Thanks in advance for your help.

In the LH front leg of the X-member there is an oval hole with several bolt holes around it. This is where the origina brake/clutch pedals/master cylinder bracket mounted. The master cylinder pointed front to back and stuck out the back of the bracket. The pedal pivot was forward of the master cylinder front of th x-member leg. That'll get you close.

The location is critical. Can you wait until the body is positioned on the frame to assure proper clearance to the floor, steering column, column shift parts etc before fitting the pedal assembly?

I have a complete pedal set, rebuilt and ready to bolt in, for a 39. Check to see if that would be compatible. PM me.
