Just an Update, i have since pulled the the whole thing down for a chassis clean up, she's done some hard work, there were that many thing welded up on it! Even the guards had been welded to the Cab!
I think i have decided not to run the original tub though....? Just a bit to big and bulky...

That one is very cool. The original style side with vent windows. Vent windows weren't on Ford pickups in the states until '48. The style side didn't show up until '57. My vote is for a heavy duty push truck. Were 5 five wheels a usual configuration for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks?

  9. Your call, but it's kinda rare so I'd say restore. There are plenty of truck cabs to make those fad low 'bobber' things with and 'rat rod' isn't a style at all so cross that one out.

G'day! I've got a mate in Queensland who's well into rodding a '41. It's ex Army & he's sort of following a military theme. Send me a PM if you're interested & I'll send you his contact details.
    Cheers, Peter.

I've changed my mind again, i think i will semi restore but keep the original tub! Needs a lot of work to straighten back out again though!
Has anyone else got any pictures of this type of truck or similar?
