Hi, First post here. I recently purchased a 41 Ford Pickup and it was missing the bedside filler panels that go in front of the rear fenders to cover the frame. I ordered some new ones but can’t figure out how they attach. Not sure if they are supposed to pop in, drill holes to bolt them, clip them or weld them? Forgive me if this is a dumb question, this is my first hot rod and can’t seem to find the answer and haven’t seen any pickups at the local car show to look.

As I recall the originals were spot welded on, so you might consider drilling some holes and using fasteners to attach them.
