I'm starting on the interior of my '42 Ford pick up. I'm going to use a one piece headliner. Anyone had experience with these? Is one brand better? Also, the cab is from an old tow truck and is supposedly a 1 ton. Is this larger than the regular truck cab? The worry is that the headliner I order will be too small. These jail bar trucks are rare around here, have never been able to park next to another one to compare. Thanks.

Cabs are the same from 1940 thru 1947 as I understand it. Floor might be dropped under the seat to accommodate gas tank under the seat on later models; especially on larger trucks. At least that's what I've observed and been told. Headliners should be all the same, Upholstery fellas didn't have any problem with mine.
