1946 dodge 3.8L 230ci inline six

I have a 1946 Dodge truck with a 3.8L 230ci inline six. Is ther any way to up the cubic inch with out boring it out and if you can put a 4 barrel carberater on it and where to get the parts?

I think the 230's stroke is maxed out; no more to be gained. That's why Dodge developed the 251 using a new and longer block. Sorry I can't help on the 4barrel question.
