For sale: 46 ford chopped business coupe project. Top has been chopped 3.5", and windshield leaned back 1". Car has had rockers replaced, quarters patched. Has also had trim holes filled. Running boards eliminated, door jambs finished. Has custom rear trunk floor with aluminum tank. Set up for electric fuel pump. Has low mileage rebuilt 50 8RT flathead. engine has been bored .060 over and crank has been turned .010, .010. Has new oil pump, water pumps, fuel pump, rebuilt 94 carburetor, new points, condenser, cap, rotor, clear red plug wires, rajah ends. also has chrome nut covers through out. Motor is setup with 49 merc oil pan and correct pick up tube along with merc dipstick and stamped bell housing. Engine also has pcv system, and headers. Transmission is from a 41 mercury. Shifts fine, haven't torn down. all clutch components are new. pilot, throw out bearings, pressure plate, disc, hub, return spring, equalizer spring and split bushings, flywheel has been turned also. Torque tube has new seals. Rear end has nice un pitted axle housings/bearing races, new inner/outer wheel bearings, seals, keys, relined rear shoes, new hold down hardware, new e brake cables and springs, new wheel cylinders, new wheel retainers. Rear axle ratio is 3:78. All brake lines and hoses are new, new master cylinder. Front brakes are from 53 F100 truck,. Have new inner, outer bearings, seals, shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders. Rear leaf spring has had eyes reversed, leaves cleaned and lined, 2" longer shackles. Original rear cross member has been removed with new a new straight cross member with custom upper/lower shock mounts has been installed. Rear frame was also step notched to give a 9" lowering. Front has longer shackles. Installed new keep it clean wiring system, but lights are not installed. Wires have been run though. Car will run, drive, though will need to be trailered. Major bodywork has been completed, but will need more to get it in primer/paint. Dash and steering column have been painted a maroon color. Column shifter has been completely rebuilt and so has column lock. Car has original 46 gauges, aftermarket chrome dash trim. New electric wiper kit has been installed also have Arvin heater ***embly that needs installed. Have all parts to finish including front seat, original steering wheel, trim, new fibergl*** 41 style skirts, new in box taillight lenses. Have all new weather stripping , window channels, latch rebuild kits, etc . Over $1200.00 in these parts alone, still in boxes. Extra new tie rod ends, wish bone insulator, new shocks , new reds header head pipes and newer coker www radial tires. Has 47 olds grill currently, also have couple sets of bumpers, guards, brackets, front, rear gravel pan etc. May have more extra parts as well. Have clear Indiana ***le. Nice old school custom for the money. Finish it in your color and interior. Mechanicals are done.
