I'm restoring a 1946 Ford Deluxe and I installing the re chromed bumpers. I ordered the Front Bumper Bracket To Pan Cushion. Does anybody have a picture of where they go. I can't find anything on the internet.
Are you talking about the rectangle shaped rubber things with a rectangle hole through the middle? If you are, they slip on the bumper irons and sit on them in the area where the front of the valance pan crosses over the irons. Think of them as a rattle prevention cushion, from the pan rattling on the irons. You’ll have to take the irons off from the frame to slip them on. I never ran them on my car, never had a problem with any rattling there either.
