1946 Lincoln Questions

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by BamaMav, Mar 1, 2013.

  1. Believe it or not you can get a lot of the parts you want for your Lincoln from AutoZone, a couple of years ago they installed an antique auto parts catalog in their computer system. you may have to tell the dude behind the counter about it they just hire junkies and winos off the street.

The 350/350 combo doesn't have to be a belly button, you can dress it to look like an older small bock and you can even get inside I and make it a one off runner although the Lincoln is a big old boat and there isn't much that is going to propel it to fantastic speeds I am afraid to say.

If you are buying the Lincoln from a place in Denver I have to say buyer beware. I worked on a piece of shit from a yard up there, a 46 vert a couple of years ago and it was a total pile. But it did look good on the outside. Just a word of warning, too damned many cars are made to look good and not mechanically sound.
