I'm not having any luck finding a place that sells a kit to rebuild for the front suspension on a 1946 Chevy Fleetmaster. Is there such a kit? Is it better to buy it in pieces? Also will a standard rebuild kit work with a V8 swap? Thanks for any help you can offer.
If you want to do a mustang II front suspension, Ch***is Engineering has a sweet bolt in kit that has adjustable height spring towers.
A full rebuild kit including steering is not that cheap when you add everything up, upper & lower arms, shocks, tie rods, kingpins, brakes etc. A CE MII kit wouldn't be that more expensive by the time you add it all up?
I've been on Chevy's of the 40's and can't find anything that addresses the stock stuff to rebuild. Wasn't looking to do a Mustang II but maybe that is the only choice. I'll check those other sites, thanks for the leads.
